Servings: 4 | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes
Smoked Honey Pork Chops — seasoned with the Homestead spice blend for the perfect smoky, sweet, and salty flavor.
🛒 Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
 - 2 tbsp olive oil
 - 2 tbsp Homestead spice blend
 - 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for extra caramelization)
 - 2 tbsp honey
 - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
 - Fresh parsley (for garnish)

👩🍳 Instructions
- Season the Chops
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub each chop with olive oil, then sprinkle generously with the Homestead spice blend. If you like extra caramelization, add a light dusting of brown sugar.
 - Marinate (Optional)
For deeper flavor, let seasoned chops rest for 30 minutes or refrigerate up to 4 hours.
 - Sear for Flavor
Heat a cast iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear chops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
 - Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice), and soy sauce. Brush over the chops.
 - Finish Cooking
Reduce heat to medium-low. Continue cooking chops for 5–7 minutes per side (internal temp 145°F/63°C), brushing with glaze occasionally.
 - Rest & Serve
Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and drizzle with any leftover glaze. Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or grilled corn.
